The Dayton Legends Softball Club was formed to provide an organized structure that would provide Dayton area players an opportunity to compete as a "traveling club".

Currently there are Ten teams that are competing for sanctioned National Softball recognition. These teams compete in the 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 & 75 divisions. The Club operates under specific by-laws that make for a democratic process when it comes to making decisions for the overall benefit of the Club Members.

The DLSC currently has Team Sponsors who have supported the Club financially in order that players might be better able to afford the cost of competing in tournaments. In addition, the Club holds several fund raising events that provide partial  uniforms to Club Members, misc. team equipment, and that also helps offset some of the expenses associated with tournament play.

The DLSC has Associate Members whose function is to support and promote the DLSC in the Dayton, Ohio area. They are welcome to attend regular Club meetings and to join in any social functions that are being sponsored by the DLSC.
